Emergency NP professionals and other Emergency Medicine thought leaders across the profession— you are invited to submit your education content for The 2024 American Academy of Emergency Nurse Practitioners® (AAENP) National Conference: EmergNP, to be held March 15 - 17, 2024 in Provo, Utah. AAENP is looking for fast-paced, creative, engaging education from experts like you! Do not hesitate to take the next step in your career and connect with emergency professionals from all over the world. We cordially invite all interested presenters/authors from across all disciplines (Physician, Pharmacy, Physician Associates and Nurse Practitioners) to submit proposals to be considered. Presentations offer the opportunity to exchange ideas, network and impact the quality of education for Nurse Practitioners working in Emergency Medicine, Observation and Urgent Care settings. Presentation abstracts should reflect sound adult learning principles and the best thinking in the field, informed by theory, research and practice. Topics of Interest for EmergNP 2024:

- Clinical topic and/or updates
- Trauma
- Overdoses
- Clinical Pearls
- Epistaxis/Eye emergencies
- Documentation strategies
- Pharmacology
- Mechanical Ventilation/Airway
- Orthopedic injuries and splinting
- Hyperbaric Medicine
- Environmental injuries
- Agricultural injuries
To deliver exceptional learning experiences, preference will be given to proposals that are positioned to deliver a mix of the following: Content: Reflective, innovative, cutting-edge content and evidence based-practice, present evidence supported by relevant research or data, explore issues important to diverse audiences, demonstrate the relevance of lessons through “real-life” case studies. Instructional Design: Stimulate and provoke discussion, audience engagement and outcome focused design, facilitate knowledge transfer and development of new competencies, use methods that draw out relevant past knowledge and experiences. Each submission will go through a peer-review process. Proposals will be reviewed and evaluated to ensure the following:
- Proposals include accurate and complete information.
- Content is current, evidence-based, and suitable for the presentation duration.
- The presentation does not promote personal interest in a service, book, or product.
- The presenter's experience indicates expertise in the subject area.
- The backgrounds of the conference presenters (as a group) are diverse.

- Poster Presentation
- Rapid Fire: 20 minutes
- Learning Hour: 50 minutes
- Procedural Workshop: 50 minutes
- Panel Discussion: 50 minutes
Submission Guidelines
Call for content is now closed
Submit your proposal by September 8, 2023. Selected presenters will be notified by October 14, 2023. Complete required tasks (description, learning objectives, topic selection, etc). Do not include personal identifying information for facility/hospital within the body of your abstract. Input a maximum of three speakers per content submission. Simply consider your subject matter and submit your abstract proposal below. A separate submission must be completed for each proposal. Applicants are allowed up to *four* separate submissions.
