Midwestern Regional Director: Mike Moore

Michael is an Emergency Nurse Practitioner certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board and a Family Nurse Practitioner certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Michaels career in emergency medicine began as a paramedic graduating from Hutchinson Community College in 1995 providing pre hospital care in a high volume EMS service in the greater Wichita/Sedgwick County EMS for nearly 10 years. Michael took to the air as a flight medic for one year with Eaglemed air medical transport. Graduating from nursing school in 2004 from Wichita State University, he began is emergency nursing career at Via Christi St. Francis level I trauma center.

With a drive to advance his education he completed his nurse practitioner education in 2007 beginning his career at Via Christi Health. Michael has gained experienced in many emergency departments including HCA Wesley, Galichia Heart Hospital, Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, and Great Bend Regional Hospital.  Currently completing his doctorate degree at Wichita State Univeristy and working primarily in rural Kansas emergency departments. He enjoys advancing his skills in point of care emergency sono and teaching EKG interpretations to develop future ENP’s.  Michael also is active in national organizations currently volunteering his time as the regional director and state representative for the American Academy of Emergency Nurse Practitioners.
